Here are some resources dyslexic students and those learning to read may find useful.
Wordshark.  www.ldalearning.com. This is a good, and relatively cheap product for practising reading and spelling. It needs to be used for a short time several times a week, using the computer.
Sutton Dyslexia produce cards which can be used as a support for dyslexic children in class. www.suttondyslexia.org.uk.
Gamz www.gamzuk.com. Swap and Fix cards are a good way to practise reading.
Numbershark. www.ldalearning.com. This is a good, and relatively cheap product for practising maths skills. It needs to be used for a short time several times a week, using the computer.
Support for underlying skills/motor skills. The Happy Puzzle Company, www.happypuzzle.co.uk, produce many games to help build skills such as visual memory skills or motor skills. Their free catalogue lists which skills each game teaches. Most games are good fun.
